Can a System Work Without a Storage Device?

Technically, a computer can start up without storage, but it won’t be able to display or function without being connected to another device that can store data. Every operating system requires storage, and without it, your computer won’t function properly. Storage devices, such as hard drives (HDD) or solid-state drives (SSD), are essential for retaining all your programs and files.
